Terms of Service
Effective Date: November 5, 2026
Last Updated: November 5, 2026
Welcome to Intry.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Intry, including our website at https://intry.app, early-access waitlist, user accounts, Gmail integrations, and email productivity features.
Intry provides tools designed to help users organize their inboxes, identify important emails, manage action items, and track follow-ups.
By creating an account, connecting a supported email service, or using Intry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
1. About Intry
Intry is an email productivity application designed to help users manage their email-related work.
Depending on availability and your account's access, Intry may provide:
- Gmail inbox viewing and message reading.
- Priority email classification.
- User-defined priority rules.
- Action items associated with email messages.
- Follow-up tracking.
- Account preferences and organizational tools.
Intry is an evolving service. Certain features may be experimental, unavailable, modified, or discontinued as development progresses.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Intry does not send, delete, archive, label, or modify messages in your Gmail account.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or meet the minimum age required by applicable law, to use Intry.
By using the service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirements and have the authority to agree to these Terms.
If you use Intry on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have permission to connect the relevant accounts and use the service on that organization's behalf.
3. Accounts and Authentication
You may create an Intry account using email authentication or a supported third-party identity provider.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Maintain the security of your authentication credentials.
- Use only accounts you own or are authorized to access.
- Notify us if you become aware of unauthorized account activity.
- Comply with the applicable terms of your identity provider.
You are responsible for activities conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Signing in with Google or another identity provider does not automatically authorize Intry to access your email messages.
Gmail access requires a separate authorization.
4. Gmail Integration
Intry offers an optional integration with Gmail.
When you choose to connect Gmail, you authorize Intry to access Gmail information through the permissions presented during Google's authorization process.
Intry currently requests:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
This permission allows Intry to read Gmail messages and related information necessary for its functionality.
It does not authorize Intry to send, delete, archive, label, or otherwise modify messages in Gmail.
By connecting Gmail, you confirm that:
- You own or are authorized to access the connected Gmail account.
- You authorize Intry to retrieve and process Gmail information for the features you use.
- You understand that Gmail access remains subject to Google's applicable policies and authorization controls.
You may disconnect Gmail through Intry's Settings or revoke access through your Google Account.
Disconnecting Gmail may cause inbox-related features to become unavailable until you reconnect.
Intry is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.
5. Email Prioritization and Organizational Features
Intry provides tools to help you identify, classify, and organize email-related information.
These may include priority rules, priority classifications, action items, and follow-up tracking.
You acknowledge that:
- Priority classifications may not always reflect the actual importance of a message.
- User-defined rules depend on the conditions and settings you configure.
- Emails may be incorrectly classified or omitted from a particular organizational view.
- Action items and follow-up reminders are organizational aids, not guarantees that a deadline or obligation will be met.
- Intry's organizational records do not necessarily modify the corresponding messages in Gmail.
You remain responsible for reviewing your inbox, responding to messages, and meeting any personal, professional, financial, or legal deadlines.
Intry should not be relied upon as the sole method of monitoring time-sensitive or critical communications.
6. Early-Access Waitlist
Intry may offer a waitlist for access to upcoming features or broader product availability.
Joining the waitlist:
- Does not automatically create an Intry account.
- Does not connect your Gmail account.
- Does not guarantee access by a particular date.
- Does not guarantee that any specific feature will become available.
We may send waitlist confirmations and relevant service communications using the email address you provide.
You may request removal from the waitlist by contacting us.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Intry or interfere with its operation.
You must not:
- Access accounts, emails, or information without authorization.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, or security controls.
- Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Introduce malicious software or harmful code.
- Use automated systems to abuse the service or circumvent rate limits.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
- Connect Gmail accounts you are not authorized to access.
- Use Intry in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Attempt to extract or misuse other users' private information.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or infrastructure.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us.
Our Privacy Policy (https://intry.app/privacy) explains what information Intry collects, how Gmail information is processed, what information is stored, and how users can manage or delete their data.
By using Intry, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Intry does not sell Gmail data or use Gmail message contents for advertising.
Full Gmail message bodies are not persistently stored in Intry's database under the current implementation. Limited Gmail-derived metadata may be retained to support the application's functionality.
9. Third-Party Services
Intry relies on third-party services and infrastructure, including authentication providers, Google APIs, cloud hosting, and database services.
Your use of connected third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
We do not control the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.
Certain Intry features may become unavailable if a third-party provider changes its APIs, permissions, policies, or service availability.
10. Service Availability and Changes
Intry is provided as an evolving service.
We may:
- Add, modify, or discontinue features.
- Perform maintenance.
- Introduce usage limits.
- Restrict access to experimental features.
- Temporarily suspend functionality to address security or operational issues.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device or email account.
Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice of significant service changes.
11. Fees and Payments
Intry's current early-access features may be offered without charge.
If paid plans, subscriptions, or additional fees are introduced in the future, the applicable pricing and payment terms will be disclosed before you are charged.
We will not charge you for a paid plan without the required authorization.
12. Intellectual Property
Intry and its associated branding, software, interface designs, logos, and original content are owned by Intry or its applicable licensors.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service for its intended purposes.
You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected elements of Intry except as permitted by applicable law or with appropriate authorization.
You retain ownership of your own information, including email content and user-created organizational records.
Connecting Gmail does not transfer ownership of your emails to Intry.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Intry at any time.
You may disconnect Gmail or delete your account using the available account controls.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You materially violate these Terms.
- Your activity creates a security risk.
- Your use threatens the operation of the service.
- We are required to do so by law.
- The service or relevant functionality is discontinued.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may provide notice before termination.
Account deletion and data retention are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.
Deleting your Intry account does not delete your Google account or Gmail messages.
14. Disclaimers
Intry provides email productivity and organizational tools for informational and convenience purposes.
The service does not guarantee that all important emails, deadlines, obligations, or follow-ups will be identified correctly.
You are responsible for independently reviewing important communications and confirming any actions that require your attention.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Intry is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free performance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Intry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
This includes, where legally permissible, losses resulting from missed emails, incorrect priority classifications, missed deadlines, interrupted access, or third-party service failures.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in Intry's services, functionality, business operations, or applicable legal requirements.
When updated, the Last Updated date will be revised.
If changes materially affect users' rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
Your continued use of Intry after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you disagree with the updated Terms, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
17. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly applicable to specific features, govern your use of Intry.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer or privacy protections available under applicable law.
